Everything You're Afraid to Ask Your Insurance Company.
No jargon. No runaround. Just the honest answers that help you make the right call for your property and your claim.
What We Do
A public adjuster is a licensed professional who works exclusively for you — the policyholder — not the insurance company. Your insurer has their own adjusters whose job is to close your claim as cheaply as possible. We do the opposite: we document every loss, interpret your policy in your favor, and negotiate the highest possible settlement on your behalf. Think of us as your attorney, but for insurance claims.
Your insurance company's adjuster is paid by the insurance company. Their performance is measured by how efficiently they close claims — not how much they pay you. We are paid by you, as a percentage of your settlement. That means our incentive is 100% aligned with yours: the more we recover, the more we earn. We have zero reason to minimize your claim and every reason to maximize it.
You can handle it yourself — the same way you could represent yourself in court. But insurance policies are dense legal documents, and carriers have teams of professionals trained to limit payouts. Most policyholders who go it alone accept the first offer without knowing what they're actually entitled to. Our clients consistently recover significantly more than those who negotiate alone. The question isn't whether you can do it yourself — it's whether you want to leave money on the table to find out.
We handle all residential and commercial property damage claims in Florida: roof damage, hurricane and storm losses, water and flood damage, fire and smoke damage, and underpaid or denied claims. If your property was damaged and you have an insurance policy, we can almost certainly help. Call us and we'll tell you straight whether your situation is one we can improve.
Fees & Cost
We charge a percentage of your final settlement — nothing upfront, nothing out of pocket. If we don't recover money for you, you owe us nothing. Our fee is contingency-based, which means we only get paid when you get paid. We only charge a small percentage (10%) of the additional amount we increase your claim; We have a simple and transparent fee structure and keep you updated throughout the entire process.
In almost every case, yes — by a wide margin. Insurance carriers routinely underpay claims by 30–60%. Even after our fee, our clients typically walk away with significantly more than they would have received on their own. We'll give you an honest assessment during your free review. If we don't think we can improve your outcome enough to justify our fee, we'll tell you.
None. Zero. We review your claim, walk your property, and tell you exactly what we think you're owed — at no charge and with no obligation. If you decide not to hire us after the consultation, you owe us nothing. We do this because we're confident that once you see the gap between what you've been offered and what you're actually entitled to, the decision is obvious.
The Process
We schedule a free property inspection as quickly as possible — often within 24–48 hours. We walk the property, review your policy, and document every loss. Then we prepare a detailed claim package and submit it to your carrier. From there, we handle all communication, negotiation, and follow-up with the insurance company. You stay informed at every step, but you don't have to fight the battle yourself.
It depends on the complexity of the loss and how aggressively your carrier responds. Simple residential claims can resolve in 30–60 days. Complex commercial losses or disputed claims can take longer. What we can tell you is that having a professional advocate consistently accelerates the process — carriers take documented, professionally prepared claims more seriously and move faster when they know they're dealing with someone who knows the policy as well as they do.
No. You have a legal right to hire a public adjuster, and insurance companies deal with us regularly. What it does do is signal that you're serious, that you know your rights, and that you're not going to accept an arbitrary lowball offer. Carriers respond differently when they know a professional is on the other side of the table. That's exactly the point.
Often, yes. Many policyholders don't realize that a closed claim isn't necessarily a final one. If you were underpaid, if damage was missed, or if your carrier applied improper deductions, there may be grounds to reopen and supplement your claim. We've recovered significant additional funds for clients who thought they had no options left. Call us — the worst we can tell you is that there's nothing more to recover.
Not necessarily. A denial is not always the end of the road. We review denied claims to identify whether the denial was proper, whether there are grounds for appeal, and whether the appraisal or umpire process applies. Florida law gives policyholders specific rights when it comes to disputed claims — and we know how to use them. Call us before you assume it's over.
Florida-Specific
Florida has the most complex property insurance market in the country. Our climate, building codes, storm patterns, and carrier tactics are unlike anywhere else. We know which carriers fight hardest, which damage types they routinely undervalue, and how Florida's insurance statutes protect policyholders. A generalist adjuster from out of state doesn't have that. We do.
Yes — and it matters a lot. Hurricane claims in Florida involve named-storm deductibles, wind vs. flood coverage disputes, and carriers who mobilize catastrophe teams specifically to minimize storm payouts. The documentation window is narrow — damage gets repaired, evidence disappears, and carriers use that against you. The faster you call us after a storm, the stronger your claim. Don't wait.
A named-storm deductible is a separate, higher deductible that applies when damage is caused by a named hurricane or tropical storm. It's typically calculated as a percentage of your home's insured value — often 2–5% — rather than a flat dollar amount. On a $400,000 home, that's $8,000–$20,000 out of pocket before your coverage kicks in. We review your policy to make sure the deductible is being applied correctly and that your carrier isn't using it as an excuse to underpay the rest of your claim.
